Paypal doesn't have a shopping cart?

Question
PayPal is a payment method that allows you to sell individual products or accept donations on your web site. To display a PayPal "Buy Now" or "Donate Now" button, you simply sign up for PayPal, complete a form, and paste PayPal's HTML code into a page of your site. Please note: PayPal enables customers to make one payment at a time and does not include shopping cart functionality. For complete shopping cart functionality, upgrade to a Yahoo! Merchant Solutions package. I saw it mentioned in ebay forums before that some people were using paypal shopping cart on their website, but according to yahoo webhosting faq, paypal doesn't have a shopping cart?

Answer
This might just be if you go through Yahoo for your hosting. I know I've seen them mention shopping carts and such on their stie for websites... I'm sure of it.

Answer
Paypal certainly DOES have a shopping cart - I have it on my website and customers use it ALL the time. A buyer can add several items to it (don't know how many, but at least 4 or 5) and then pay for them all in one payment. I do NOT have a PayPal merchant account, this is just the regular one that you can use with a regular PayPal account.

Answer
The shopping cart on my website is powered by X-Cart
You can see some info about it at Sharon's website:

We set it up to use paypal as one of the payment methods.
I guess I don't know if paypal has it's own shopping cart engine, but it's easily integrated into any shopping cart system you might have.
I did use the plain vanilla paypal buttons on my old site -- there are many advantages to having one-click type sales! Seriously, I think my scrubbie sales were probably better when there wasn't a shopping cart.
If I were you I'd get my paypal shopping cart info from the paypal site, not from yahoo.
