Ebay now ending listings for KWS regarding paypal acceptance

Question
There are threads popping up where sellers state they don't accept international or unconfirmed payments in their listings and the listings are being pulled. And ebay doesn't refund the listing fees anymore. Nice huh?

Answer
I know there was a post made about ebay not refunding fees if you violate the policies in place I kind of understand that for chronic violators, but when ebay doesn't know how to find their head from a hole in the ground that's not right. I'd think it would be illegal to keep money for services you(the company) fail to provide. Unless they have it in big bold letters when listing that if you violate their policy somewhere you won't get your fees back

So, if you want to use PP, you must accept all types, even those from International users. Does that mean you "have" to sell and ship Internationally if you accept PP?

I took PP out of my last listing. I'll not use them again.

Answer
I don't think that the policy is that you are required to accept international customers.
The policy change is that you can no longer use PayPal without accepting credit cards through PayPal.
You can still require confirmed addresses. You can still decide where you are willing to ship.
What you can no longer do is accept payment through PayPal BUT only from your (cash) balance or with an e-check.
If you take PayPal, you have to take all the types of PAYMENT, not just cash-payments or e-checks.
That's my interpretation from reading the eBay boards. And, as usual, especially in the summertime, there's a huge snafu at the vendor-side implementing that change. Which is messing up some sellers who are NOT breaking that new rule.
Same old.

Answer
Now ebay is searching auctions to close them down, with or without cause, and keeping the listing fees. Just wait until the report button is placed on actual auction pages. Maybe it will be better to just send ebay money and list someplace else.

Answer
This is true. But unfortunately, someone at ebay doesn't know what the heck they are doing. Someone probably forgot to learn to read and is sitting on the wrong whoppie cushion
I put in mine that I no longer accept paypal.
