I haven't sold on ebay for awhile, but decided to start back again.
This time I'm selling in the Everything Else >> Mystery Auction category.

I think a mystery for a penny or a buck is fun. A mystery for $149 is too much mystery for me. No detail of "gold" type or weight. No size. Bid $149 on unknowns? Nope, not me. Combine that with $20.50 shipping?? All sales final?

Sorry but I've never sold in that category so won't be of much help. Do people really bid without knowing what they're buying?

Apparently they do -- I took a look around and there's some people bidding big bucks for boxfuls of 'surprises'. Hard to believe. But hey, so long as they're happy I guess. (Didn't check any feedback while I was there...)

I researched similar auctions first, then tried my best to do a good job.
The items that will be in the boxes, are all beautiful, and any woman would love them. Heck, I love them. They'll be getting very good, and valueable items, so the customer won't lose. In fact, they'll be getting merchandise worth a lot more than they'll be paying for it.
So, I'll see how it goes, and whether it's worth it to sell in this category.
