For the past few days I have had a strange problem with search. I have been looking around at clothes for fall and noticed that sometimes the results seemed odd because normally large, active categories/search terms would return results with no auctions ending for 5 or 6 hours. Just now I went to the womens clothing- sweaters category and asked for the "ending soonest" listings. The top of the list started at 5hours til ending! That I knew couldn't be right. I re-sorted by "ending today" and came up with a ton of previously bypassed auctions ending in as quickly as 1 minute. What is up with this? Is is something I am doing wrong?

Could ebay coders be doing something to close the door to the auction extender programs? Seems strange that we have heard all this talk, all over the internet, about auctions showing up in the closing pages and now those pages are doing "strange" things. Ebay covering ebay's butt

It's possible that the ones you are seeing first are ALL of the featured items-which will show up before ANY OTHERS sometimes, depending on how loaded the category is, it could be 5-10 PAGES before you get to the regular auctions
