I just did my first listing in years, and it says if you accept PayPal, which I do, checkout will automatically be used. Is there a way around this? I prefer to email my buyer at the end of the auction instead of doing everything automated.

Use a seperate link for paypal, and you can bypass this thing. I would not advise you doing this as the bidders seem to like it. Note this method removes you from a paypal only search.

Having checkout enabled doesn't prevent you from sending your own EOA notice, I do it all the time.

YOu will find, however, that your EOA will get to most buyers AFTER they pay. I've changed the order I do things. I d/l paypal payments FIRST (auction sage does that which is wonderful), then only do EOA if someone hasn't paid yet. (I used to do the EOA first but that was just confusing the 95% of buyers who had already paid.) Maryanne
