Hi, I signed up for www.1and1.com a few days ago. I got a free web host account and a $25 redemption code for Google AdWords. I thought the Internet bubble bursted already, but I guess there are a few still around... Anyway, get in on the deal...
If you wanted to open your own web site but price has stopped you, you have no excuse. All you need is some time you are willing to invest. If you were uncertain about Google AdWords, $25.00 is a pretty sweet pot to experiment with.

I signed up and a friend signed up, the only thing they could possibly be harvesting at this point is our phone number
everything else looks legit.
thought I would try them for a year, if I like them I will transfer over my main domain, which I just paid for a years subscription.

Tekgems did you do a site yet? I did one just to see how it looks and spiders. For some reason I can't get it live. Has yours showed up yet? When I put in url it just says the url has been registered. Maybe there is a delay.

there is a delay......when you go into control panel it will show you when the space has been accepted.
i did a few pics for auctions and they are faster than my other provider.the account comes do at the end of the month to so i am going to go with this.....free 500 megs for 3 years....can't beat that.

Teek how long before it was "live". Have you checked to see if the spiders can crawl it? Can you give me url of your site so I can check it?

i just put a few pics into turbo lister that i put up with an FTP
it took about 2 hours or so i think to get it registered.
seems very fast at loading and that is all i care.i do not have a website anymore just eBay.
