10-cent listing day spoof

Question
Today's AuctionBytes Newsflash says "Ten-Cent Listing Day on eBay Is a Fraud." There's a phishing email that purports to be from Bill Cobb, with photograph. Here's the AuctionBytes story.

Answer
I didn't receive the email, though I would be v-e-r-y interested in a ten cent listing day and might have bit. Thanks for the heads up.
Larry

Answer
You're welcome. Thanks to AuctionBytes, actually. I might have bitten also. 10-cent listing day sounds more credible than the phishing emails I've received.

Answer
I always check headers on email.
It was a clear fraud.

Answer
I'd like to announce a special one-day 10¢ Listing Day Sale, Insertion fees for auction-style and Fixed Price format listings on eBay.com, eBay Motors (for non-vehicles listings) and eBay.ca will be a nickel.[/i]
It seems pretty likely to not be a real email if it says it's a 10 cent listing day and each listing will be a nickel.

Sue Kind of hard to tell just by that, however, when ebay makes such mistakes itself.
