I am outraged at the treatment received by gw & theperfectgift at here. I asked members from this site to go there and help here survive. They are NOT spammers, but respected, contributing members of that site. There was no intent of spamming, just a post of free listings, by a new user unaware of the zero spam tolerance policies. Even looking at other threads from new users, we can all see how new members are scrutinized, ridiculed & publicly humiliated by a few of their members. If helping a site out by helping them on their own site's needs....THEN I'M GUILTY OF HELPING QUITE A FEW SITES IN THE OAI...with bulk loader testing, listing tests, and I can't remember what all. DOES THAT MAKE ME AFFILIATED TOO????
I've sent a message to Jim regarding this treatment with links to both threads. This is NOT the here he built & certainly not the sharing, friendly community that grew from his efforts. It's not just an insult to us, but to Jim most of all.
Stop hiding behind your zero spam tolerance comedy routine. Advising new members of the affiliation rules & stopping spammers is one thing. What you and your cronies have done is QUITE another. You've turned here into a vicious clique of people who have nothing better to do than destroy!
It's a good thing Jim didn't tell anyone who the other OAI companies were that wanted to help. They would have been run off too by the here Inquisition. It's a sad, sad day for a site I loved so well in the past. This is the first impression you've given of here to new members joining or potential members and I hope you're proud of yourselves.
My fellow PSU members, I regret inviting you to such a spiteful place. I am sorry that this all happened. I was obviously very wrong in trying to help another OAI community. There isn't any "treat others as you would want to be treated" here.
I do express my appreciation to those few who were nice to us.

I guess according to you people PSU member Puddin26 accused of engaging in daily forum spam (see his quote below from the locked thread) should be shown respect, while people like XPP who do not spam should be called "winners(NOT)"?
On another thread, you and some of your forum buds relentlessly flamed both Puddin26 and OnlineAuction.com's Vice President. Not conincidentally, one of those who was flaming the OnlineAuction.com VP is herself an auction site owner (Overnight Auctions)

I have read the previous posts and it really hurts my heart. I would like to clarify my position as well as others.
I have been a member of the iGroup auction site since the start and I do volunteer work to help when I can.
There are several members that do the same to help out. We are not owners or reps simply people helping people survive.

The first two posts by GW is not what I would call helping here to survive. In fact I don't think I've seen a post by GW anywhere else on here...but about the auction site that he is an administrator for (paid or not, owner or not). Is this what you meant by help for here?
If GW and other members of that site would have joined here in an honest and earnest effort to help here, this thread and your other thread demanding Jim's attention, would not even be necessary.
If GW had been more forthright in his "spam" posts in question, rather than trying to hide the fact that he is more than just another Seller on that site, this thread would not be necessary because you would have no need to be outraged.
Since GW posted his "spam" thread, his name and title of administrator has been removed from that one forum. Are you going to sit there and say you are a part of this and are proud of the changes that have occurred on that forum site, as well as other things said and done by this group? (I'm sure you know the forum I'm talking about, by the way.)
Maybe you yourself should stop and take a deep breath and just see how much you really want to go out on a limb for these people. Are the sales so good on that site and your "friendship" with these sort of underhanded tactics that have been pulled, that important to you, that you are willing to alienate members of your once beloved here by using such a wide brush in your condemnation of members here? Then perhaps you should also go through the affiliation process yourself?
Furthermore, I am outraged myself that you have now come back to "help" rescue here after all this time, and have posted rather vicious words yourself about the owner and members here on here. ***edited to add: Not only here on here, but I see you and GW etal are now trashing here and the members here, on other OAI sites.***
