CRAP! Buyer from France filed dispute!

Question
The pain in the a$$ buyer from France who refused insurance and shorted me on shipping and only paid after I filed NPB with ebay has now filed a complaint with Paypal! I *think* it's because he hasn't recieved it yet but the damn thing is written in French! I plugged the label # into USPS site and it says enroute from Omaha on 6/16. How long is Global Priority supposed to take? I put the info into the Paypal dispute form but what else should I do? YIKES!

Answer
you have a tracking number so all you can do is wait now

Anyone know how to change which Paypal account is linked to my ebay account? I'm digging but can't find it. I simply can't put up any more auctions until I get the payments routed through my other account. We NEED the $$ from ebay!

Answer
Why do you want to change your PP info? If there's a chargeback, they'll take it no matter what you do.
Anyway, you should be able to find what you need under your 'profile'. It's the last tab on right under "My Account" once you log on to PP.
Or maybe you mean directly in your eBay auctions? I think that's merely a matter of the info you enter in the appropriate SYI form space.

Answer
I don't want to change the info on the Paypal account. I know it's toast for the time being. I want to change the Paypal account associated with my auctions to my *other* Paypal account. I have two. If payments get sent to the ibstitchin account I'll be able to get the $$. If they get sent to the loragail account it'll still be in limbo and I won't be able to get the $$. Does that make more sense?

Answer
I dont think you can do it
does paypal have the account frozen ?

Loragail, a PayPal account is linked to your eBay auctions using the email address associated with your eBay ID.
Make sense?
All you have to do is delete that email address from the account that you DON'T want the money to go to, and add that email address to the account you DO want it to go to. This is of course done by logging into each PayPal account and going to Profile.
A PayPal dispute is nothing to get your knickers in a twist over. It's a popular bullying tactic these days with pushy buyers. I think I've had as many as eight PP disputes on my account at one time. They don't freeze your account. They may put a hold on the amount of the disputed transaction. If you want and if it makes you feel safer, you can move the rest of your balance to your other account (and no, you shouldn't have to pay a fee to do that since it's a non-auction transaction).
The good news for sellers is that it takes PayPal forever to process a dispute. This is (in my view) deliberate. 9 times out of 10 the item shows up on the buyer's doorstep long before it gets to the chargeback stage. I just got a refund on a $400+ item I bought that never arrived, but it took many weeks.
Edited to add: Good luck with this. I'll bet it turns out just fine. As we all know, eBay is a famously unpredictable way of making a living

Hi Fluff! Haven't seen ya around in a crow's age!!

Answer
I had a chargeback on my account a while back and they don't freeze your entire account on something like that..they took the cash out of my account and held it in limbo until the dispute was settled..they found in my favor and put the money back in within a few days.
Meanwhile it was business as usual for me on my paypal account..I still could recieve and take out funds wirh no problem.

Answer
seems to me that ebay/paypal would see it for what it is
a attempt to get around limitaions put on the account.
I know you can't close the account while there is a dispute and I would suspect you can't change accounts for the same reason.
if you could what would stop you from opening multiple paypal accounts and just going to a new one every time there was a issue ?
