I just found a seller in my town using the exact name per se as our store name. The only ommision was the underscore is mine. Example...
Supersize Stuff (his)
Supersize_Stuff (mine)
Those are examples of the store names. I reported it to ebay for the similarity. Any ideas what may happen?

I saw someone on the store board say that she reported a similar situation and ebay made her change her store name even though she had it longer.

Good luck with your complaint because there doesn't appear to be ANY rhyme or reason with the way eBay permits people to name their stores.
Want to use someone's ID they have had for years and years as a seller? So long as it isn't already in use with a store.....it's yours!
Want to use an existing ID or store name? Just insert an underscore or punctuation mark......and it's yours!
Want to use anything CLOSE to an existing ID or store name? All you have to do is change or add one letter....and it's yours!
The only reason that I added "emporium" to my store name was because somebody had already tied up my user ID for a store name.....they have since closed the store. But in just now doing a search, I ran across someone ELSE that has since done the same thing by simply dropping "the" from the name; and yet someone else that has dropped the "s" from the word rats.
And don't even get me started on how MUCH the store name search function SUCKS!

Pack.. I'm going on 72 hours now and no response from ebay. So, I vero'd the sucker.. faxed it in. Gotta get results now...
