Answer
What are the listing and final value fees?

Answer
There are no listing fees or final value fees.

Answer
Sounds like it'd be a lot cheaper than ebay then. Dunno how user friendly it would be though. But it sounds like an option at least.

Answer
It looks VERY interesting, Blondie! Especially in light of the Ebay prices on the new ProStores. I would be way more inclined to do something out of the Ebay stranglehold, if I decide to do something.
Right now I'm having pretty good results with Yahoo! free auctions, so I'm busy building that up. But this ShopPal looks like something I would be interested in if I decide to do the website thing. I'm too lazy (and too computer illiterate) to do the web stuff on my own lol.

Answer
Blondie, will they let you register your domain somewhere else and then configure the domain with their DNS settings (through the people you registered the domain name with)? If so, I would recommend that.
That's quite expensive for a domain name--unless of course, that entitles you to quite a few years in a row of ownership of the domain name.
If you were to leave them, do they own the domain name--or can you take it with you (you might want to check on the details, because it sounds like they're offering a so-called "lifetime" ownership of the domain).

Answer
thanks for the replies, I have sent an email to find out about the domain charge.
There is a 30 day free trial, but I don't have the inventory on hand right now to give it a real try yet.

Answer
Here's another one that I bookmarked when someone here at here recommended them. Free trial, no credit card required until you decide you want it. Competitive rates, all the bells and whistles. This one you keep your domain name if you leave.

Answer
Here's the response I got to my email about the domain name.
You own your domain when you use one other than the generic ShopPal provided one. If you decide not to use our ShopPal solution any longer, you simply change your DNS settings so that it no longer points to our servers. You get directions on how to do this once you set up a Top Level Domain with our company. Each company would have different web addresses that you would need to link to your website name should you go elsewhere. But, once you pay for a web site address, it is yours as long as you maintain it with the service you purchased it from such as GoDaddy.

Answer
Do you have to buy a domain from them? Or can you use the one you already have?
