"You're a Favorite Seller"??????

Question
Spoof or for real???....
Got this email from eBay....
Congratulations, MYUSERNAME, 5 or more eBay members have named you as a "Favorite Seller" and have signed up to get regular updates on your "Top Pick" items! With, of course, a link to "update my picks now"......
?????????????????????????????????????????????????? ???????

Answer
I saw that TOP PICKS thing on my "My eBay" page this morning but forgot to check it out.

OOOPS....not top picks but PERSONALIZED PICKS.

You might find some information here:
http://pages.ebay.com/help/myebay/track-favorites.html

I still wouldn't click on a link if I were you.

Answer
Ooooooooooooh, so maybe five people actually DID put me on their "Favorite Sellers" list!....(which would be pretty amazing since I've only sold like 5 items in the past 5 months!)...
Thanx for the info!....
Maybe I'll send it to eBay Spoof and they can tell me if it's for real!....Geez, would be nice if I got an award or something!

Answer
I received the same email a few weeks ago.

Answer
I got one last week sometime (I think).
I did not do anything with it, but a few days later I got another email with special promotions from one of my "favorite sellers" I have saved in MyEbay.
It looked like that seller utilized that same email.
It was a pretty good promotion email, with titles and a link to their auctions.
I didnt save it, otherwise I would paste it up here for you guys.
Started off something like "Your favorite seller has the following specials listed on eBay . . . "

Answer
Yeah I got one of those too. They actually said that more than 5 people marked me as a favorite seller, several more said I was kind of neat, and 3 of them offered to father my children.I sold them picture frame supplies, it's what I do. It breeds framing groupies.

Answer
I got one too a couple of weeks ago but I didn't believe I could be anyones "favorite" anything so I ignored it.

Answer
I have about 20 sellers marked as my "favorite sellers". Once a week, I get an email with their "top picks". If you choose which items to place as your "top picks" then those are the ones linked in the email that goes out to the buyers.
I've made several purchases based on those "Seller Top Picks" emails. Some have been from their eBay Stores, others purchased at auction.
