Question
I got a bunch of cheap DVDs from the local FYE the other day and noticed that one of them has a spelling error on the front. One of the star's name is misspelled - it's correct on the back. Not a huge star, but recognizable to me as a popular co-star from the 50's.
My question is whether this mistake is a marketable aspect? If so, I'll mention it in the title! If not, I'll just mention it in the listing information.
Maybe this is my big score! Or not?
Answer
Have you looked the star up on IMDB.com? Actors did sometimes change name spellings...
Answer
Nope, haven't looked it up yet, but I'm pretty sure this is just a typo. His first name is spelled "Braian" on the front, and "Brian" on the back in the cast listing.
I'll watch it before I list it to make sure it's not a cheeeeeeep knock off. Or should I not open it? Oh, decisions, decisions!
Answer
My guess is a cheap knockoff, probably from someone whose first language is not English. Can you say "Bejing"?

Answer
I was thinking illegally made and illegally imported CD, with the online reseller of it asking for a Vero email and slap. Of course we don't know, but we can speculate.
Answer
Sigh. I had thought that buying from a well-established store like FYE would have precluded the possibility of it being a knock-off.
It says "made in Taiwan" on the back, the manufacturer is DIGIVIEW productions.
I've seen the same brand of DVD at Walmart and Sam's, so I thought they were safe.
So much for my "one of a kind"!
Answer
Funny thing is, it might not have been made by Digiview at all, they may have copied that too.
Or the mistake was rejected by WalMart and they are unloading the CD's with faulty labels. Is the CD inside spelled correctly?
