Question
For almost a week I have been completely unable to list or relist anything on ebay. I am not alone in having these problems, but there doesn't seem to be a solution coming from ebay anytime soon. Many people are having script errors and people who actually can list are having their listing disappear and the problems are being experienced by bidders as well.
I have tried all the quick-fixes that have been offered and the problem is still not resolved. I have tried lisitng on different machines and still no luck. I am certain that the problem is with Ebay. ( I have a cable modem, not AOL)
I have come to the decision to try to use a lister, but I don't know which one to choose. Currently I have about 35 auctions that I would like to list as auctions and 65-70 that I want to list in my store. I would like some suggestions about a good lister to use and one that isn't too expensive. Currently I have the 5MB image storage with Andale. The only other experence with a turbo lister that I have was when I used Auction Rover many moons ago.
Hope this all makes sense, I'm a bit frazzeled after having wasted all this good selling time waiting for ebay to acknowledge and possibly even fix this huge problem.
Thanks in advance,
Kallie

I use Turbolister and am happy with it. You'll get all kinds of suggestions here from everyone. Best is just look at them with the free trial and go from there.

Mimi and I have tried them all or at least looked at them all....it sure feels like all of them anyway
sparedollar is the least expensive and the absolute easiest to learn
not sure what you want in perks but they are a good start up one.
I had a newbie I wa straining who was low on computor literacy as well as totally unfamilar with ebay, had only bought a couple of things...
45 minutes from signing up with SD and having 3 auctions runing....can't beat that. It does what they need quite efficiently.
No I don't work for them, I just like them cause they are idiot proof. I had an auction up and running within minutes of signing up with them. They just don't have a package that suits my usage.

its ok, but I like a third party listing software just for double security
when ebay screws up, at least you still have a record in a third party program somehwere. http://community.here.com/infopop/em.../icon_wink.gif
the off line listing software for ebay works good for a few people, but on a night when ebay is messing with the sight, sometimes it won't upload properly, but it is a rare occaision when you will be listing at exactly the same time ebya is messing up.

isn't auction rover now auctiva?
I use sold! but second the recommendation of sparedollar. I would use it if I were on cable.
I'm on dialup and after trying just about all of them this summer, it works the best for me. You can schedule auctions in advance and sold! will launch them as a batch (if your computer is on and sold! is running. It will log onto the internet to do it).
I use my own template so have never tried the editing software or templates that come with sold! I just copy an auction that has the template I want, make changes and save it.
Most of the sites and software had free trial periods, maybe you could just use one for the next month and see if ebay straightens up its act?

I second the motion for Spare Dollar. They are having some growing pains, but it's cheap, works most of the time, easy to use and very intuitive. AND, it does everything I need it to do. All that for only $4.95 a month. First month is free. That'll give you an extra $4.95 for Christmas $$. http://community.here.com/infopop/em.../icon_wink.gif

I haven't been having any problems listing or relisting this week, so I'm sorry I can't help you with that. But I would like to caution you on something with TurboLister, just in case you decide to try it because it's free. Often I found that when the auctions went up, it appeared as though some were missing. For example, I'd upload 10, go into My eBay, and only see 8 at the bottom of the list. I'd search for the other 2 and discover that they had listed for only 3 or 5 day listings, even though they were all set for 7 as the default and that's what showed in the list of items waiting to upload. I recently ran into a person who also sells on eBay, not the same thing I do, and he said he also experienced the same problem and gave up on TL for that reason also.

Sparedollar. Can't beat the price and since images are included it's a great deal.
Are there any other services that you all can suggest?
I have pretty good computer skills, so learning the software isn't a big deal for me. I am gearing up to go 3/4ths time with my ebay sales, so I need something that can handle that.
Thanks again!
