i send invoice saying s/h is $5.00 and i get letter from lady being so mad, because WHEN THEY GET THE INVOICE IT SAYS $13.00
another one i sent s/h $6.00 and she gets invoice saying it is $20.00
anyone else getting this, maybe i am doing somthing wrong, these are only on people winning more then one auction.

Are shipping totals for multiple items being added? That is what it sounds like.

I've had it happen a lot lately, maybe in the last 3 weeks or so. Random shipping charges just appear, & 3.00 seems to be the most general random figure.
I have yet to figure out WHERE they are coming from, because they are usually on new listings, not "re-used" forms.
And I usually list my shipping in the body of the auction, NOT the seperate shipping section.
I've had a bunch come up lately, so I've gotten to the point of CHECKING that section when I list something. I'll have "shipping 2.75" in the body of the auction, & in the shipping section it will say 3.00, 4.00 or 5.00--ALWAYS a whole number.
No clue why, but you're NOT alone!

This is why I send my own invoices through AuctionSage. I've never trusted anything that has to go through eBay, from email to "Checkout".

Here is what was happening to me.
I give a substancial discount on shipping if they win more then 1 auction.
They were clicking through on the "PAY NOW" button to pay by paypal but it was showing the full shipping on each item shipping and the idiots were paying it.
After they paid then they questioned me about my high shipping.
So I spent alot of time and money refunding their shipping.
FINALLY...in my auctions I said... PLEASE NOTE: "IF you WANT to SAVE on Combine shipping WAIT for my invoice"
I haven't had a problem since.
I figure if they don't want to wait and pay double and triple shipping then its there problem.
