This just came to me via ebay's ask a seller question:
I wanted to pass on a little info to you about ebay. Even after the last rate hike in February that caused so much dissention among ebay members, they are now talking about charging a monthly access fee to members. It is claimed to be due to losses in the previous quarter. I don't know about you, but there has got to be an end to this insane price gouging. Please help by copying the text of this email and passing on to 10 people. If enough people forward this email word will get out and the below auction site will be our alternative, or ebay will be forced to stop these crazy fee hikes. I have inserted a link below to a rapid growing auction site that has free listing. If you know of another good auction site with free listing, please ad their link below when you send this email to others. www.webidz.com www.voovy.com p.s. please help us all by copying the text of this email and sending to at least 10 people.
Interesting way to spam ebay users about your "rapid growing auction site" eh? I imagine they're pretty busy tonight sending this garbage out. The ebay id is schaulllert and it's been registered since May 9. I wonder how long it's going to be registered.

not only is that spam, it is just plain ignorant.
Ebay pays the bills on their systems, NOT for the use of blatent abuse like this. all this does is bog down the servers and equipment for those of us who need to use the equipment for our businesses.

Yep, I reported him. I would've bet money ebay would boot him off immediately. All I got in response from ebay was:
