Question
I find it so odd that people would bid on my auction, when my store has the same items listed at the same price. They could buy it now without having to wait for the auction to end.
How common is this?
I've only had my store for a while and this is my second big listing set, so I am not that experienced when it comes to the ebay store stuff.
BTW, thanks to all those who offered help with my bidder who purchased several items from me. Doing the ebay invoice thingy was soooo easy.

Very common, ,most people still aren't used to the whole store concept.
but the ones that "get it" should be enough to make the store worthwhile.
Make sure you mention the store VERY high up in all your auctions to draw in some lookers.

and I think part of that is because bidders don't go LOOK in your store to see if you have duplicates there at a BIN price.
Something that you might try is putting a very obvious? "Can't wait for the auction to close, you can BIN one of these right here" and make (here) a clickable link to the matching item in your store.

and feel that it's worthwhile to have it. I agree that many bidders aren't used to the store format. I also noticed that most of the bidders that I currently have are pretty new ebayers.
I may edit my template next time I list and move things around, but I do have a line saying that if they want the item now, visit my store. Maybe I will put it in bold.

On my last batch I had items in my auctions priced about .10-.15 cheaper, but that didn't seem to make a difference. So I just made everything the same price this go around, make bookkeeping much easier!

Toy you should put a link to your store & the correct catagory right under those big words.

me again. The bad thing is if people click on "see sellers other auctions" they get the auction format list but with store items in it.. They have to click the red store listing flag.
Ebay needs to make it so if someone has a store clicking "see sellers other auctions" gets the store, which includes all auctions & store items.

I been thinking about it, and just did not do it yet...
I was having a lot of fun playing with those pictures....
and somewhere in all that fun...somebody bought 4 items
out of the store, and I had to fiqure out which pic I had
to redo in that group. Luckily it only affected one, and I
happen to have another copy of it I can put up... ..

Actually I should give them the link to my mepage, that does show all my listings in store and auctions all at once. I list similiar back to back.....
