Answer
auction is more than 90 days old?
Answer
One of several reasons that I keep all of my emails for 6 months (but not Ebay's EOA's). I can go back to my communication with the seller/buyer and just click or cut & paste the auction number and get to the auction if it is still in the system.
If the transaction was after about the 4th of August, you should be able to get to it through this feedback link, if you are logged in on Ebay.
Cheers, Kevin
Answer
I transfer all my ended auctions to an Excel spreadsheet when they end, so I have a record. But they won't show up after 3 months on eBay usually, unless for some weird reason they do, but I have not had that be the case for mine.
For record keeping though, those spreadsheets can be beat - I can figure out what any customer buys at any given time.

I have usually been able to rerun auctions up to 90 days old as long as I have the auction number. Sometimes even older files are still around. But if you do eBay searches by seller or bidder you only get 30 days.
As to things that are older, I think they are gone, or at least not available by any means I have tried.
Of course, you could pose as a law enforcement agency and ask and see if they do have archives. eBay has been quoted as saying that all you need to get info on a buyer or seller is to TELL them you are in law enforcement, you supposedly do not have to demonstrate it. Of course, it is illegal to pose as a policeman etc. and this may just be a red herring. (probably helps to have an email that ends in .gov)
Dunno what else to suggest....

If you know what the item was or the time frame-you could find the auction number in your account records I believe. Just a thought http://community.here.com/infopop/em.../icon_wink.gif

YISGOOD,
I know this is totally off-topic, but hoped you could tell me... don't you visit the "ol-site" AW sometimes, Vendi now?
If so, could you tell me if the fraud section is off limits to visitors? I tried to visit the other day, and couldn't see any the listings on that or the "watch this seller" board.
What gives?
