Anyone Heard of Free USPS Bubble Envelopes?

Question
I just had a client come in asking about selling jewelry. She stated that she had gotten free bubble envelopes from the USPS. I just looked over their site and could not find anything but priority mail items and forms. No bubble envelopes.

Answer
I have never heard of them either. Perhaps they are being tested, or were provided to a major account to get their business.

Answer
a lot of post offices have items for sale in a "botique " type setting often these are unmaned
a while back wifey came home with some spiffy boxs , obviosly from the botique . I questioned her " HOW MUCH DID YOU PAY FOR THESE " glare..
nothing she said they were there with the priority boxs so she thought they where free.
could be your freind is mistakenlly helping herself to "for sale " supplies .

Answer
Tyvek Priority Envelopes were offered at one point with a thin pocket of bubble (unattached) to the inside of the envelope. I have not seen those offered for at least two years now.

I thought WOW! Could it be true?
I could use some of those!
I do see Office Depot has a buy one get one free bubble wrap
(and some other supplies) I don't know if it's in store only or
delivery too.

Answer
Maybe she meant UPS.

Answer
I vaguely remember that quite a few years ago they did have bubble envelopes, but people were getting the envelopes and peeling the bubble wrap out of them for other uses so they quickly put an end to it.
