I have done that register with your sites E-mail address, Do I need to do anything more?
It has been brought to my attention, From one of my Members that someone calling themselves Auction2005 has been saying different things about my site Pureauctions.com, now for someone to get intouch with me through the pureauctions admin address caused some concern for me so here I am
I in no way know of this person and his/her views do not reflect the views of the Pureauctions staff and would like to take this opportunity to say sorry if any of the posts he/she was apart of caused any bad feelings towards my site
Why he/she would come on here and say such things is beyond me. but he/she did and I'm sorry for that.

Over many years of trying out new sights, many of us have become wary and jaded. That's a lot of what you are seeing here. If you want to have a dialogue, it is possible to do that...
For a start, we've learned that before we will sign up for any sight, we want to know what the privacy policy is, and a little about the owner of the sight. So hence the questions about the privacy policy. If we are going to sign up and deliver our personal information to a sight, we need to know who we are dealing with... If you had any idea what some other sights of the past have pulled, well, it's just amazing...
So what is your name? Where are you(i.e. where is the auction sight based?)? Why are you starting a sight? What is your experience in the industry?

My name is Gary and I'm in the UK
I have a university degree in busineess and finance I have been in sales for 4 years and am currently a Recruitment consultant within the UK
To start with word of mouth, I'm not going to throw loads of wasted money at the site on advertising, I'm going to slowly build up a small community and see what happens from there, Rome was not built in a day, just like I don't expect Pureauctions to have over night success, I'm optimistic I can make Pureauctions work and I am more than Qualified to give it my best shot

Another reoccuring theme is someone spamming the board pretending to be an enthused user then following up with the obligatory "it wasn't me." It's rather intriguing watching the trend.
