Question about eBay "rules"

Question
I listed a book twice, fixed price, and it did not sell. The 2nd time I listed it, I used Make An Offer, so I have no clue why this potential buyer didn't make an offer while the listing was still active but he didn't. Today I get an email asking me to take less.
I am not feeling inclined to list it a 3rd time and I have already listed it on a fixed price site. Can I tell this person where I have the book listed or is this an absolute no-no since he contacted me through eBay? It's a limited audience type of book and I really would like to sell it but I don't want to create problems for myself either.
TIA

Answer
If I were in a good mood, I would explain that it had been listed twice on eBay and didn't sell and that it's listed now on another site.
If I didn't want to mess with the emailer, especially since they seem to want to dicker with the price, I would delete the email and forget about it.
