Question
I'm coming up to the close of my first month on Blujay and just want to share that I have been extremely pleased with the site, to date. A big bonus is the recently added 'Gallery' that showcases some of your other listings! Kudos to Blujay for this one, for sure!
One of my stores is just about empty now as I had one customer buy out most of my stock in one fell swoop. Scared the daylights out of me when I came home and saw a sizeable payment from Paypal - I sell small ticket items and had no idea what had happened at first. After catching my breath, I saw that the sales were from multiple purchases by one customer. (I just sell at 'Buy It Now' prices and request instant payment from Paypal, so I know this is probably limiting sales a bit. But on the other hand, it makes for quick sales and payment for the types of items I sell, so I'm quite happy with that arrangement for the time being.)
I can see this as being a potential problem, however, because unlike eBay the listings don't disappear once a sale is made. I had been away all day and hadn't checked my email, so it made me think about what would have happened if someone else had purchased the same item before I had a chance to remove the listing? For this particular situation it happens that I make the items and have duplicates of the things that sold. So the upside of this is that it's great to be able to leave the listings active even after a purchase has been made. It would be nice to see Blujay implement an option to 'Remove Listing' once item has been sold, if such an option is possible.
I have been actively promoting the Blujay store from which the multiple purchases were made to my former eBay customers, and it was a previous customer who bought the items. But I also have a hit counter in my listings so I can see how many page views I'm getting. Not a lot at this point. However, I have noticed that the hits go up whenever I post new listings, so I'm learning to spread my listings out a few at time. One of the features I like at Blujay is that you can view the 'Recently Posted' items, so you can see what others are listing.
Here's a link to my stores. They're pretty empty right now and being Easter weekend I don't have a lot of time to restock, but I do hope to get more listings up next week, with perhaps a bigger range of stock, as well.

Answer
Hi Shanne,
We are working on that feature right now. We are trying to find a very comprehensive method of closing a listing and ensuring that a payment is made. Please bear with us . We do understand a possible confusion this may bring and are working on this. Thanks.

Personally, I like the "always up" ad. It works for items which I have many in stock of. However, I can also see how those with one of a kind items would like to have the option of the ad closing upon purchase.
Adam, will you be considering a way to allow the seller to choose "always open" or "close upon sale" ?
Answer
Hi Thentavius,
Yes we are. Sellers will have the option of quantity of items being: 1-some larger quantity or an unlimited quantity.
