I'm interested how they've n-tiered their application for performance and load balancing, using a functional, yet limited, CGI interface.
Answer
Thank you for your interest in our auction site.
We have been operational for about 3 years now, of those last 6 months
as Bidera Auctions, (our first name eMaximarket was too cumbersome to remember).
Along the way our program code has undergone several revisions and
is constantly being updated. Also, we have moved to better and more
reliable servers (currently running on a Sun multiprocessor servers) as
traffic for Bidera has been increasing.
Bidera has the capacity to grow 100 fold. I mean it literally, our
servers is running at under 1 percent of capacity currently.
Bidera is not related in any way to Wagglepop (who seemed to be a
victim of their own success, as the massive traffic brought down their
servers).
Our philosophy has been to slowly build up instead of promising the
moon and then crashing down to earth.
For the first year we did no advertising at all, which did not bring a
lot of users. However, it let us concentrate on improving the site.
For the last few months we have been steadily increasing advertising
for Bidera.com, this seems to bring results as more and more people find us.
Incidentally, if you plan to enter a number or similar items, you
should find our template feature a useful one and save you some time.
I hope you find your stay at Bidera an enjoyable one.

Kate
Answer
well, they must need listings, I quickly searched a bunch of stuff I buy regularily, not one item came up.
and considering the length of time between the start of this thread and the owner joining in, I sure hope they don't handle the customer service emails.....
just kidding dude.
Answer
Neat contest to enter.
And I need to make some money.
Hmmmmmm
Answer
And I'm done registering. Voila.
Tried for a seller there as referral, that took most of my time.
None of the above had any listings............
