We got a call today from a telemarketer for eBay giving us a "personal invitation" to eBay Live 2005 in San Jose.
I let him read his spiel to me, gave him permission to email and said goodbye.
It was interesting that the phone call came referencing my husband's ID (less than 50 feedback).
My ID with feedback in the thousands did not receive a phone call.

You know, I was waiting for a chance to talk about just that sort of thing, but the kid was reading a script as fast has he could jabber away. I had to ask him to slow down because I couldn't understand a word he was saying at first.
He was a telemarketer and not even a good telemarketer at that.
Why on earth would I pay to go to a trade show?
