Answer
I am confused about one thing. I registered on eBay U.S. originally because at the time eBay Canada did not exist. I am a resident of Canada. Was my registration automatically switched to eBay Canada when eBay Canada was born and how do I confirm that? A test listing on Friday won't answer the question because the Announcement says fee credits may take 60 days.

Answer
Gabsy best get her "switch from store to 5 day auctions" finger limbered up......looks like she is in for dumping about 2,000 new ones tomorrow!
I am actually beginning to almost look forward to the deal of the week announcements......
.....one of these days they will have one that is free listing & no FVF on every auction for purple hearses and I am gonna be ready!

Answer
Irene I don't think you and I qualify, technically, we are not eBay.ca-ers nor are we dotcommers either.

but two of my students do qualify, I'll use one of their alias'
and I am not pounding 2,000 items on to find out in 60 days that we didn't qualify
and after that last round I only have about 1500 items left.
of course I just finished hustling and doing up a whole bunch today and they are already listed, I just turned down 200.00 for an item I started at 9.99.....hummm....might be an interesting week after all.
Meg ran out of columns to jumble around on the books so now they learned something from PP.....earn money off the float
let's see, people list 1,000,000 good items at 1.00 per item start....
so they get use of 1 mil for 60 days.......at todays interest rates and eBays poor bookkeeping skills, is this promo any good for either side.

Answer
Well, in my eBay account information section, there are 3 addresses listed - registration address, shipping address and payment address. All 3 show my address in Canada.
I'm now inclined to think we do qualify, Gabs. The details mention that those who switch their registration (and residence) to Canada AFTER the 15th aren't eligible. That implies there is a way of switching. The only thing I can see that a user can switch in the Account Information area is the registered address from outside Canada to inside Canada. There is no where I can see that allows a user to switch auction site registration.
I wish it was clearer though.

Answer
about as clear as mud it is
well, I am not using my main alias' for this one, we have one set up ready to go now, but we are only doing maybe 50 things on it. ....I am playing it cool with this one...
wonder why they limited themselves to so few participants?
and why right after a 1/2 price promo too.
weird.....gotta figure this one out, it is bugging me....
or making me nervous not sure which.

Answer
Is this the first time they've done a "Canadian Residents Only" listing day? I just don't remember them ever limiting it before like that.

Answer
I think its idiotic to just limt it to Canadians (no offense)
I mean, they can do all these 50% off fixed-price discounts, but what about a free listing day again??? When was the last time they had one? seems like forever...then they do a 1 cent listing day which is pretty much just as good....and its only for Canada??? What up?

Answer
The last time that I know of that they had a free listing day was in december 2003, but I didn't get to participate because I was recovering from having my wisdom teeth hacked out

Answer
I want a one cent listing day (off to list about 100 items at 70 cents ea darn it).
