Ebay attitude

Question
From eBaY's "feedback star glossary";
Tip: In most cases, a high feedback score is a good sign, but you should always check a member's Member Profile to read comments and look for negative remarks.
So. Nevermind the thousands of positive transactions, better look up those two negative feedbacks I got ages ago. Best to focus on the negative, that's the eBaY way.

Answer
Ahhhhhhh, good ole eBay!....While it is prudent to check the feedback, they might have added an additional line to their glossary item
Tip: In most cases, a high feedback score is a good sign, but you should always check a member's Member Profile to read comments and look for negative remarks. keeping in mind that a very low percentage of negatives is typical now a days..
OR
then check the feedback of those who left the negatives to see if they are habitually unhappy with their purchases
But I don't think we should hold our breath for eBay to add those...

Answer
In most cases, a high feedback score Well considering that eBay is the one that came up with the BRILLIANT idea to start posting percentages in bold...they are the ones that created the image that 90+% means something good. There is usually a HUGE difference between a seller with a 99.9% score and one with a 99.1%, but it doesn't LOOK much different to most buyers.
My only neagtive is from a retailitory nut case seller 5 years & almost 700 transactions ago.....still pisses me off when I see it listed boldly in the feedback box.
