Question
Do you search the Want It Now ads on ebay? If so, have you had a lot of successful sales?
I search a particular category each day as I am trying to downsize some magazines. I have had some successful sales and one sale had a bidding war.
One thing I don't like about it is that people will put their request in the wrong category, they are looking for jobs and one that was just posted was actually writing to Ellen DeGeneres asking her for tickets to her show!
Answer
I've only searched the want-it-nows a few times, but I did get a couple of successful sales out of them... It's just so time consuming to search through them all, since some titles are so vague (or misleading), and there's a lot of things in the wrong categories (as you already mentioned)...
Answer
Have tried it a few times, have responded to several requests with no takers. For me, a waste of my precious time. If these people can't do a simple search, then I am not going to continue to waste my time. It's not like I was asking an arm and a leg for anything, and they should be happy I actually responded with the item they were looking for instead of all the spam with totally unrelated items they get.
I am now off my soapbox.

No.
Is there a "subscribe" feature for sellers, so that eBay sends the seller an email each time a new "WantIt" is placed that matches a subscribed keyword?
Answer
I checked 'em out once...Tooooooo many to actually read thru for any effective results, IMO....
