Handwritten "Thank You" vs Printed Receipt

Question
When I ship out purchased items I enclose a copy of the auction (reduces questions/problems after the fact) AND a printed "Thank you" onto which I handwrite the item specifics (ID# & Title / Buyer name & ID / Winning bid, shipping costs & grand total) along with a handwritten "Thank you" signed by me...As I revamp my procedures for max efficience, I'm wondering what my customers would like to receive....What I'm using now OR the handy dandy printed Paypal receipt (99% of my sales are paid via Paypal)....
Your opinion would be greatly appreciated.....

Answer
Oh, c'mon now....Don't just read the thread and NOT VOTE!....

Answer
I picked other. I use business cards with a handwritten "Thank you" on the back.

Answer
Ok, who's the wise guy who voted OTHER, but didn't SPECIFY???....

Answer
I use a combo of the two-I type out a letter, and then will usually write a thank you on it
Sometimes I'm running to get things in the mail and don't do the handwritten thing. But I've had lots of comments on the contents of my letter

Answer
I include hand written receipts, but not thank you notes.
Almost nothing I buy has any form of receipt.
Cheers, Kevin

Answer
All of the above.
For the driftwood, I use the printed PayPal receipt, but I also include a special "instruction sheet" with a business card attached for all new customers.
For my candles/tarts, I have a custom printed invoice and I include a business/discount card with free scent samples on all orders. (I put the samples and the card in a snack size ziplock bag to make sure they see it.)
I try to always hand write "Thank You" on the receipts.

Answer
I usually write a thank you on the receipt.
I envy anyone whose handwriting is legible enough to write all the auction info on a note to the buyer.

Answer
As a buyer, I think a receipt of any kind is fine if you want to send one, but truthfully I don't care if I receive one or not, and if I'm honest, I'd really rather not, cause it's just a piece of paper that I feel obligated to save for awhile and adds to the-clutter of paperwork that I can't throw away because I may need it some day-pile.
As a seller,I don't send any receipt in with my packages unless requested and that has only been once ever. I simply printed an Auction Sage invoice. I haven't had any complaints that I don't send receipts.
