any market for vintage business cards?

Question
I was reading the Triumphant Tuesday discussion on ephemera, and remembered I had a couple of vintage business cards that I found in a 1920's book.
Is there any market for these?
Spiritualist business card front
Spiritualist business card rear
dry goods card
books and pianos card
variety store card

Answer
don't know about the rest but I would put that first one under really weird items, I bet it sells. http://community.here.com/infopop/em...on_biggrin.gif

Answer
G'day RPalma,
I have found business cards very hit and miss on Ebay. At least two are probably worth listing with a fairly low start. People who collect their trade may buy what is relevant to them - I bought some early auctioneer business cards a few weeks ago for my own auctioneering collection. I sold a modern card file full of modern magician business cards a couple of years ago successfully (about US $60 - they were probably 1980's - I got them in an overdue storage unit)
The Piano on is worth mentioning piano and organ in the title and possibly listing under those categories. I have found piano collectors enthusiastic in the past on ephemera, and have recently had some success with organ collectors - although mostly with photographs.
The spiritualist is likely to sell, to those who collect early material on this type of thing.
The dry goods looks nice but it is hard to say whether anyone will search dry goods. And the variety store one is disadvantaged by the damage to the corner.
Kind Regards, Kevin
