Not sure if this is the right place to ask, but....
I have been trying to help a friend start selling on eBay.
She has 1 ID already, for buying.
She wants to start a seperate ID to sell under, but we keep running into a problem with step 2 of registering.
We fill out the 1st part of the form-name address etc, then it SHOULD go to step 2 confirm email & password (so they can verify the email address by emailing you a code to finish registering) but it DOESN'T, it skips right to step 3 where you confim the email address with the code they sent. EXCEPT they DIDN'T send a code because they skipped step 2 of the process.......
She's tried at her work computer(ISP at work is AOL) & her home computer (ISP at home is either charter. net or info ave, can't remember, but she prefers the AOL "workings" so she access's AOl thru home ISP) and can't get eBay to "cooperate".
I cleared her cache on the work computer & still no luck. Only other thing I can think of is to clear the temp internet files, but don't know if that will help or not.
Any help on how to get her registered will be greatly appreciated!
