Question
We've just returned from oncologist's office.
We've knocked the leukemia cells down to 1% (which is OUTSTANDING considering that just a few weeks ago we were at 80%!)
But....
just to be on the 'safe side', DH is going to endure yet another series of chemo. I SO wanted it to be a one-shot deal.
Then, to disappoint me yet further, he informed me he's going back to work tomorrow.

Answer
Despite your disappointment {{{{Kathleen}}}} from 80% to 1% is FANTASTIC!!!...Hear ya about the "one shot deal" but this is just "one for the rogue" (as in rogue cells left in that 1%!!)...Going back to work (although sad for you & your special time spent with DH) is another GREAT thing!....Maybe you TWO can plan a little vacation for after this chemo...Just you and him and some super special time together!...
Continued prayers and positive energies....
Answer
I don't know your story, but I know the drill. It may help to go back to work, but tell him to use his energy wisely and admit when he needs to rest. Best wishes.
Answer
I'm sure he feels he needs to do something to take him mind off of what he is going through.
He will have to be the judge of when enough is enough.

Answer
Thanks for letting us know, Kathleen. Not sure how I missed this the first time around, but I'm sure glad someone bumped it up!
{{{{hugs}}}}
Okay, I know neither of us are probably big on hugs, but pity parties call for them, at least virtual ones.
