I don’t know what's more stupid, the price they sold for or the fact that they are men's sweaters! I did a search on google and they showed up all over the place. My guess is an overpriced artsy type designer crapola clothing line. European most likely. You would think that for that kind of moola, they would have made a little more effort with the listing. It is as ugly as the sweaters!

Here's the story on Bathing Ape
Seems a kid in Japan, obsessed with "Planet of the Apes", starts his own clothing line that becomes ultra-cool in Japan.
He uses very limited production runs ( 15 of a jacket, 500 of a t-shirt..)..and plays up his brand by not marketing in the conventional sense...his shop doesn't even have a sign.
It works, suffice to say. Just shows that scarcity and starving the market can pay-off.
