Question
First time problem...Customer BID and won a phone thru auction. Contacted her three or four times...no reply. Finally sent her an email asking for an answer or would report her as non-paying. This was the reply back:
SORRY BUT I TRIED EMAILING YOU AND YOU NEVER GOT BACK TO ME!! AND YOUR PRICE IS WAY TOO HIGH,SPRINT HAD OFFERED THE SAME PHONE WITH A REBATE SO YOU END UP PAYING ONLY 99.00 SO GO AND GET A LIFE!! AND STOP RIPPING PEOPLE OFF,TRY ANSWERING YOUR EMAILS MAYBE YOU WOULD SELL YOUR PHONE!!!!!!!
She bid on this phone...should have thought about the price before she bid on it and she never contacted me. My question-should I leave a negative or just leave it alone and should I report her as non-paying???
Thanks alot...you guys and girls are always alot of help!!!!!!!!
Answer
I would go ahead and start you npb (or whatever it's called now) process. I have not had to file one since they changed the system, but just be sure and choose the appropriate reason. I would hold off on feedback for now. You can always do that later.

Answer
For such a blatant non-payer situation, I would file a NPB with Ebay and would leave a negative feedback without a doubt.
She might neg you too, but you can always put in an answering coment.
Did you check her own feedback record? Has she done this before?
Answer
She gave me a negative feed and stated: i didnt answer emails or questions and threatened to tell ebay. I sent email telling her if within 36-48 hours I didnt receive an email from her telling me if she was going to purchase or not I would have to file a non-paying bidder form. So of course I did and left her negative feedback!! I probably wouldnt have if she wouldnt have first. If she woulda just told me she didnt want it I woulda let her out of bid. So much for communication!!! Oh well, what do they say...the first one always hurts the most!!
Thanks!!!!!!!!!
Answer
File a Non Paying Bidder Report she should have thought about the price before and then you could have canceled her bid and its not her place to say that you are ripping people off etc she is the one who bid
you can also turn those emails into ebay and neg her back she just was having buyers remorse or found a better deal and got made doesnt make it right
Answer
Well I did report her and once again she said I never answered her emails which is just a lie...this morning when i checked she had another negative feedback...same thing she bid and won and didnt pay claimed it was too expensive and the seller never answered her emails. OH WELL...hopefully when people see my neg. comment they will check on who wrote it and see her track record!!
Thanks!!!
Answer
If you scroll to the bottom of your feedback page, you'll see a link you can click on to "Reply to Feedback Received". Any response you make will show up right underneath the negative feedback comment.

"Buyers" like this need to be tossed off Ebay and that won't happen if we only leave negative feedbacks.
Sellers need to file proper NPB's with Ebay for all situations like this so the next seller she might otherwise victimize might escape facing the same problem all over again. Repetitive NPB's will get them booted by Ebay.

I just got my first neg yesterday~ yep, from a NPB. It really does stink that ebay doesn't care about this. But I've been selling about 4 yrs and have over 1000 FB, so I knew it was bound to happen! I got one email from him; right after I sent his EOA he responded with 'sending payment'. (don'tcha just love emails with NO salutation, no name, no KMA... ) I emailed him so many times, even tried a couple different email addresses, including my ISP, thinking maybe he didn't get my Yahoo mail. Now, after 4 months, I sorta figured he had blown me off... Sheesh, a big whopping 99¢ item!!! So I went and left him a neg, stating the facts. So, of course, he retaliated , and replied to my FB... so I had to do the same! (think his neg hurt him more, he only had 119 FB)
I really think eBay needs to implement something to prevent any buyers with a NPB alert on 'em from leaving FB. This whole retaliatory thing totally defeats the purpose of FB. (yeah, I know the system is flawed anyway, but still, it's what we're stuck with!) Or better yet, as someone said, if they don't pay, toss 'em off eBay. This isn't a 'giveaway' for pete's sake! :p
Answer
Early on eBay I learned the lesson of giving neg. 1st. Always got one in return, and quickly figured out that even though giving one makes me feel good, the neg's I received hurt more.
I quit giving negs 1st for any reason. If eBay wants sellers to use the FB system, they must implement the no feedback if NPB is filed policy. Very simple to fix this major flaw.
It's not my job to let other sellers know about the NPB's. My job is to make sales, and any neg will reduce that possibility.
