Question
Is everyone glued to the television now for the 'new fall season' premieres? Did auctions drop on Thursday during the premiere of Survivor? Is it not wise to have an auction end during the E.R. premiere?
OR, do you think people are savvy enough to know how to bid ahead, or that TV doesn't matter and doesn't affect auction outcomes.

yeah, I LOVE superbowl Sunday...DH goes to friends' houses for the game, and I turn on the computer for snipe-o-rama! I have found some of my best Ebay bargains that way!

Of course, this is my subjective opinion, but some of my busiest bidding takes place on those evenings when there is nothing worth watching on tv.
And while some sellers may have sales fall off during superbowl weekend(s) others have their busiest times. Depends on what your items are.

I don't watch TV, so I have no idea how much if any it effects our sales.
However, I don't see how one show can effect our bids very much as that is only one (maybe 2) hours out of 7 days.
I only change my listing habbits around really large events, and then only so the listing doesn't end on that day. If you never list, it is hard to sell http://community.here.com/infopop/em.../icon_wink.gif

I'll agree, this week went into the dumpers http://community.here.com/infopop/em...icon_frown.gif for us. But I didn't list as much as normal either since I was out of town all week.
One thing we do have is Harvest going full tilt boogie here, that may keep some people away from the computer. I would guess more than any TV show.
