Question
I was surprised to see people complain about the timing of the .05 listing day.
I thought pretty much everyone used some kind of auction management that included a schedular - guess not. So I' m curious
Answer
We have never used any kind of services to list auctions!!
Answer
yep, it eazes up my time through the week so I can run my store
Answer
I use Auction Wizard 2000 to list (and manage), so putting up the 350 or so auctions I listed yesterday is no biggie. Although I don't use it, they do have a "delay" listing feature.
But occassionally if I need to schedule multiple auctions listings over several days (which AW2K can't do), I'll use Ebay's scheduler. I only do this if I am going out of town and still need to list.
Answer
I use AuctionWorks (now Marketworks) and I usually use their scheduling feature for FLD's or NLD's as they will probably be now. I don't worry about when mine start or end as most are done as buy it nows anyway.
To avoid the bog, I will schedule a lot of them to start in the middle of the night and scattered throughout the day. Takes me about 20 minutes to get 300 up and loaded.

Answer
I have all my items written up on TL and manually list the ones I want listed.
Answer
I used to-Spare Dollar was the last one I used. But I got tired of paying for something that didn't work half the time.
Right now I'm not listing enough to worry about it
I'd love to find something easy to use-and am testing out one now, will schedule the next few I do and see how it goes.
Answer
I dont use any software and just set up listings using the standard eBay selling form. I then "pay" to have my auction start in the future.
When I want my auction to start, I access my scheduled listings on eBay, revise to take out the scheduled time, and start my auction. I get credit for the scheduling fee when my listing starts.

I do this for relists also so I can work on them anytime.

Thanks Blondie:
I had not thought of "parking" my unsold items that way. I have just been relisting as store inventory, and deleting from my unsold listings. However, if I change the store listing to an auction, I lose the listing fee credit if it sold a second time.
Now, I will just have to be very careful I dont sell the same item in my store A N D online.
Reminds me of the time I had six identical items and listed and sold seven of a months time. Opps.....
