Date: 09/29/03 Time: 10:21:42 AM PDT
Stock up your Store for the holidays! As a special offer for Store sellers, we are holding a Stores Free Listing Day promotion on the US site, so that all Store Sellers can list in the Store Inventory format for FREE on September 30th, October 1st and October 2nd. All you need to do is list in Store Inventory's 30-day duration between Tuesday, September 30th, at 00:00:01 PDT (12:00AM plus one second on September 30th, 2003) and Thursday, October 2nd, 2003, at 23:59:59 PDT (11:59 PM plus 59 seconds on October 2nd, 2003), and your listing will be free! In addition, if you list in the Good 'Til Cancelled (GTC) duration during the same timeframe, your first 30 days of the listing will be free as well!
During the promotion, Store Inventory 30-day listings and the first 30 days of your GTC listings will be free. You will be charged the current standard GTC listing charge ($0.05 per 30 days) after the first 30 days. All other fees (Gallery, Bold, Featured Plus and other feature fees) and other Store Inventory extended duration surcharges will still be charged. The promotional rate does not apply to listings with a start date prior to Sept 30th, 2003, including those listings revised during the promotional period. The promotional rate also does not apply to listings created during the promotional period, Sept 30-October 2, 2003 but scheduled to start after October 2nd, 2003.
Jump-start your holiday selling season! List your add-on and accessory items in Store Inventory format. It's FREE during this promotional period and the longer durations means less day-to-day maintenance. Plus, with the Good 'Til Cancelled duration you can literally list once and the listing will automatically renew every 30 days until the item sells or you cancel the listing!

Ooops, didn't see your thread Blanche and started another one.
I'm not too surprised to see this promotion. I am wondering if there will be a free listing day for fixed price regular auctions at the end of October, like they had last year (or a 50% off listing fee promotion for fixed price listings like they had in June).

No, I do not love my store. One sale in 2 weeks. Not sure if I'm going to keep it open past the 30 day free trial.

I list at many different sites : My Ebay Storefront and My Ioffer Storefront
Or perhaps you'd prefer to visit SYI Listings and finally My Website
Answer
except for buying auction management My Ebay store was the best thing I did for my ebay business.
I had fixed price auctions close last night. Normally I only list them once a month but because of the free store listing I experimented & listed the unsold ones in my store.. Some were bought from my store almost as soon as I listed them.
The only problem with my having the store is that it allowed me to procrastinate & not finish my website.
