Question
I paid mine hours ago and they are still not showing up. Live help says there is a bug that they are working on.
Anyone else?
Answer
Yep--it actually started a couple of days ago. I have been incurring those "error" pages now and then and have taken to making several small payments toward my seller fees every day or so just to see if the site is getting better...payment I made on 2/7 didn't show up until today, and I still haven't been credited for a payment I made yesterday, or for one today.
Out of curiosity, does anyone know how Ebay accounts for PayPal payments made this way? I wonder if they have to account for a transaction fee and percentage like we do. (yeah right)
Answer
I wonder if they have to account for a transaction fee and percentage like we do.
LOL!
No, they probably have a personal account so there are no fees from paypal account to paypal account.
Actually that would be one of those really easy places to hide profits and/or losses on both sides.
Answer
I did, no problems.
Answer
Mine payment went through also, but didn't show up on my seller account. Have you actually gone to your seller account and looked at it?
Answer
Yes--check your seller account to see if the payment was credited. Mine have not been.
The payment goes through, and I have even received the 'payment accepted' emails from PayPal, but the amounts are not in my seller account.
Answer
Thanks Psyllie2
This is driving me mad because I did make a one lump sum payment. Will let me know if yours clears?
Thanks!
Answer
hope they dont charge you twice. they are infamous for that.
Answer
That was my fear. Is that if they don't acknowledge it, then it will be charged to me on the 15th.
I just checked and it has been applied - 16 hours later.
Answer
I was of the opinion that this issue is just another eBay accounting department foul up.
Lately I am thinking they are keeping two sets of books, and that there is a lot of looting and pillaging going on behind the scenes. lol.
When things do not add up, you can be pretty sure the books are being cooked. After all, eBay stock has fallen a third in value after their recent quarterly profits announcement and earnings projections.
