I hope I am not waving a red flag here, but I am preparing six new listings to go up on standard auctions ( non-store) for Sunday Jan.6 2005, and the program I use ( Poster Toaster) will verify insertion fees prior to posting.
The insertion fees seem to have increased. In example: single auction, listing in US$, starting price $45.00. Insertion fee $1.48. Example2: single auction, listing in US$, starting price $24.99. Insertion fee $0.74. They were $1.20 & $0.60.
I have never had any problem with this program returning the correct fees in the past, since it updates with eBay weekly. Am I missing something or is eBay preparing for something?

I just went back and re-read you post and now I is almost usre that is your problem
60 cents is the us dollar amount
maybe toasterpoaster is quoting it differently.

I dont think so. My fee schedule shows that $15 to 34.99 CDN is a fee of $0.85. A starting price of $35 to 69.99 CDN is a fee of $1.65.
I am at a loss to explain this.

I just figured out what is happening. I list on eBay.ca in us funds. I get charged insertion fees in us$. Then eBay converts the us$ back to canadian funds, hence the difference. I think I need more and more and more

I don't us eBay.ca very often so I have no clue how they invoice
