I want to put a saltwater tank & stand up for auction, but since it is so breakable, I don't know whether to offer shipping or not. I see that most require pick-up, but I don't want to lose a sale if it means shipping. Any suggestions?

If girth plus height exceeds 130 inches it would have to go freight. Big bucks there.
Even if not, the sheer mass of packing, materials and time to properly secure the stuff as it is double and triple boxed would never be worth your time. Remember that while the glass might not break, any sudden shock or vibration is likely to hurt the seals.
I would never purchase a shipped fish tank for that very reason.
Standard carriers are just too rough.
Best bet is to require pickup.
