We are pleased to announce the Buy One Get One Free listing upgrade sale. Sellers who participate in the promotion can take advantage of one or both of the following options: add Border to your listings and get Subtitle free and/or add Bold to your listings and get Gallery free. The promotion is available on the following sites:
U.S. (www.ebay.com)
Canada (www.ebay.ca).
eBay Motors (www.ebaymotors.com), for non-vehicle listings only.
The promotion will start Wednesday, January 19, 2005 at 00:00:01 PT (12:00 AM plus one second) and end on Thursday, January 20, 2005 at 23:59:59 PT (11:59 PM plus 59 seconds). Listings created prior to January 19, 2005 and scheduled to start during the promotional period (January 19–20, 2005) will also be eligible for the promotional rate. Take advantage of this promotion to spotlight your listings with additional listing upgrades!
During the Buy One Get One Free listing upgrade sale:
For auction-style, Fixed Price and Motors non-vehicles listings, sellers can take advantage of one or both of the following options:
Add Border for the regular price and get Subtitle at no additional charge.
Add Bold for the regular price and get Gallery at no additional charge.
Please note that the discounted fee will not be immediately reflected on the site. You will see a credit to your seller’s account by late February 2005.
This promotion will not apply to the following types of listings: eBay Motors vehicles, Real Estate Ad Format, International, Live Auction, Professional Services, and Stores Inventory listings.
All other fees (including Insertion Fees, Final Value Fees and all other optional listing upgrade fees, such as Buy It Now, Highlight, Gallery Featured, Featured Plus!, Listing Designer, Gift Services, Reserve, extended duration insertion fees, etc.) will still be charged. The promotional rate does not apply to listings which start prior to January 19, 2005 or those listings which are revised during the promotional period. The promotional rate also does not apply to listings created during the promotional period that are scheduled to start after the promotion ends on January 20, 2005.

well. I would ^^^ if it weren't practically true.
By the way I had relists + a few new auctions to do today and remembered seeing this thread so I came over to check before I got started - I THOUGHT it had said Buy One Get One "lissssstings" i.e list one next ones free ... so of course now I am not as hyped on listing this afternoon as I'd been previously (and that wasn't much anyway!)
How much IS bold?, I use gallery exclusively on one auction series - if it's not any more than gallery already maybe I'll try it and see if it makes an impact (oooh like the "purple ring around the listing" did. yaaaaaah.)
