Question
Well, it's not FLD, but Ebay.ca just announced that tomorrow (Dec 27th) is going to be 10 cent listing day for auction and fixed price listings... Wonder if ebay.com will be following suit???
Answer
really, I don't think the site could handle a 10 cent day AND a FLD on the same day, could they?
here's a copy of the announcement

Answer
Argh!
So, a new wrench in the works. Do I take advantage of a 10-cent promo day, or sit back and HOPE for a FLD.
I wonder if Ebay is going to see how well this Canada promo does before doing anything for US...and if it does well, does that mean a 10-cent US listing day and no FLD??? Or maybe no US promo at all???
Argh!
Answer
There's a link on the ebay.ca announcement for a "similar promotion on ebay.com"- looks like they're running a 10 cent listing day in the U.S. tomorrow too...

Answer
Bleah...
Better than nothing, I guess.
Looks like I won't be listing quite as many as I had thought. I'll still do a honkin' big pile, but not everything. Some will just stay there in the store instead of having their big day on the main site lol.
Answer
yep Psyllie, that is my plan too
I was kind of expecting it actually
but I was hoping for a nickle listing day
Answer
Hmmm, Free listing day with inflation (and one second shorter than it used to be, although that may have changed a long time ago).
They didn't even include 10 days in the promo, at the time of year that you pretty much need ten day listings (on this side of the globe, anyway). If you need a bit more exposure, you pay three times as much to list....
Amusing (sort of) , Kevin
Answer
So is looks like this will be the first year eBay does not have a FLD.
Answer
I still don't actually see any official word on the US eBay announcement board though, does anyone see it?
