Is the eBay search engine down?

Question
If I click on "Search" via the eBay page toolbar, or even if I use my search engine bookmarks, I get "not found, page may have been moved or does not exist."
Anyone else?

Answer
I got this "not found, page may have been moved or does not exist", and then it very quickly clicked over to the search page. Ebay is probably tweaking what more than likely doesn't need tweaking.
Just tried it again and it said something about "click here if you're not redirected".

Answer
The only redirect I got was to the "not found" page. No matter which bookmark I use -- "Search by title," "search by number," "search by seller," none of them work. All lead to the Not Found message.

Answer
I got a "page not found" in my eBay when I tried to see my account detail from 8/2-today. But when I hit "since last invoice," it was ok.

Answer
The redirect kept dumping me in limbo until I rebooted my computer, after which the redirect worked and and brought me to the search page.
I guess they killed the old search page today -- the one with title/description - Item Number - Seller - Bidder - Closed Auction searches all on the same page. Too bad. I liked that Search for its simplicity. I've been using it for years.

Answer
Spaz,
Glad to see someone else mention the old search page. It's the only one I use.
One page..nice and simple. It's near impossible for me to make sense of all that
nonsense on the other pages. This may be the final straw for me. Sure wish they would bring it back.

Answer
Damn!! The old search page is the only one I ever use and now I'm getting redirected to the new search page as well. That really ticks me off.

Answer
The old search page still works on ebay.ca. The only field it doesn't have is Completed Search. I guess I'll just have to move from Country to Country until all of the old search pages are retired.

Answer
I had a horrible time finding a way to search bidding activity for a bidder.

Answer
Blanche, you're a genius ! How did you ever find that ? The only work-around I found was to go to the new re-direct page and then choose "show fewer options" (or something like that). Then on the left, there are the choices to search by seller, bidder or completed. At least there is less stuff in my face.
As many have said before...Thank You !
