Question
This site on ebay is tempting...is not an auction. Do you see a "catch"? Phyllis

Answer
Call me paranoid, but I don't click on ANYTHING!!!
And those "get this XYZ for FREE/CHEAP" ALL seem like scams to me (of course I'm probably losing out on some fantastic deals, but I'd rather be safe than sorry)

Answer
The "ref_id=" in the url indicates that the auction seller receives a commission from the web site owner every time someone clicks on the link and buys something from the site.
My question to you - if someone legitimate has a terrific product at a below wholesale price - why would they market their product this way? There are much better ways of selling, include directly selling on eBay. In other words - Buyer Beware. I doubt you'd be happy with any product you received - if in fact the product was ever shipped to you.

Answer
First of all, you have to purchase a product before you get on the WAITING LIST for a free gift. Secondly, it's a pyramid/matrix scheme and you will probably NEVER get a free gift of any value.

When you buy our product, 2-pack of Cell Phone Signal Boosters, you are entered into the waiting list for a free gift of your choice (your chosen cell phone, ipod, xbox, ps2, etc). When the required number of new members join, the person currently at the top of the list will receive their chosen free gift. It is important that you understand how the system works before you participate. In the example below, five new members are required to join the waiting list, before a free gift is sent to the customer on top of witing list. Mike has joined at the top of the list - he will receive his free gift after five people buy Signal Boosters. Kerry is next in the list and she will receive her free gift afer another five people have bought the Signal Boosters.
How long will I have to wait for my free gift? The waiting time for a free gift depends on a number of factors, including your choice of free gift, the length of your waiting list, the number of people you introduce and the amount of interest in that particular free gift. The amount of time you have to wait for your free gift depends on your position in the waiting list. For example, if your chosen free gift requires 19 sales before your free gift is sent out and you are 5th on the list, you will have to wait for 19x5 sales. If on average 6 people sign up everyday, you wait approximately 16 days.
How can I get my free gift faster? If you personally recommend a friend then you will skip (queue jump) the person above you in the list. This will significantly reduce your waiting time. Using the previous example, if you were 20th on the list and introduced one friend per day then you would be at the top of the list after 18 days. You don't need to refer your friends if you don't want to, it's your choice to decide if to wait little longer or do a little advertising and progress fast. I believe this auction is against eBay's rules.
