Question
A friend of mine who is an eBay seller went to log into his account and it is saying "Your sign-in information is not valid. Please try again"
He can't get into his eBay account, can't list nothing and has written eBay but has received no reply. He has NOT received any letters from eBay saying he has been suspended or there is any problems regarding his account or anything so he doesn't have a clue why he can't log in.
He gave me his information so I could try and I got the same message.
Since he makes his livelyhood from eBay he needs to get this resolved right away any suggestions or phone number he can try.
PLEASE HELP - UGENT !
Answer
Why don't you try live help? Or do a search on this board, there is an 800# floating around here somewhere. I hope it works out.
Answer
Odd. Usually when you hit a sign-in not valid error, it has you type in four digits it displays below the usual login screen.
Did you get that this time? Sometimes they are very light and hard to see.

Answer
Hello kolonel. The fastest way to get help from eBay is through Live Chat. There are two Live Chat Help links on eBay. The most important one is the hijacked account link:
http://livechat.ebay.com/Chat/servle...ex.jsp&grp=ATO ONLY to be used for account theft problems, either yours or reporting about someone else's stolen account
This one is for help with anything else other than account theft problems:

You can find some eBay phone numbers in this thread but, more than likely, they will tell your friend to use the web form or Live Chat:

I know he tried this page but it asks you to log in and he can't I'll suggest the other links that were given -thanks to all...
Answer
There is a portion of that page that gives instructions if you CANNOT log in.
But if you can't get to the page... that's a whole 'nother ballgame.
More or less tells you about what blanche already did.
Hope your friend got this squared away.
