Question
I ran across this payment option in an Overstock auction, and was wondering if anyone here has heard of it, or used it, or anything? I haven't yet had time to read all the fine print, so don't know exactly how it compares to Paypal, or the others.

Answer
I opened up an account over theere last week but haven't used it yet. Costs appear to be comparable to Paypal, not counting the rebate you get if you use the Paypal card to make purchases - be sure to specify credit card if you want the rebate.
There's two reasons I opted to open an account. First, the buyer is not required to open an account - just give your CC & credit card info (seller never sees CC info) and they're done. Second, they have free a shopping cart/store builder. Just enter in your product info, etc. and it kicks out the HTML to paste into you website.
Oh yea, they accept international payments with no extra charges added on. Also, for convenience, from your first sale they charge you $5 for a debit card, which can then be used for withdrawal of funds. Its worth having, I think. Most every person who has a regular merchant account, they all tell me there's a lot of people out there who won't/don't use Paypal.
They have a referral program too, so if you're thinking about opening an account... I'd be more than happy to help you out.
Answer
Yes, I am thinking of opening the account with ikobo but I haven’t decided yet as I have some questions. Can I transfer money from my ikobo account to the bank account? And what is ikobo card used for?
Answer
The iKobo payment method is apparently to issue a debit card with funds withdrawn from it as the debit card is used.
I've never used a debit card so someone else will need to provide details, but I do not believe it would be possible to use them for bank transfers.
Answer
Their support leaves alot to be desired!
Answer
Yes, I read about ikobo card on their website, and it seems like it is very convenient to use it as money can be withdrawn at any ATM that accepts Visa cards. But what if I lose that card?
And Omnibus, did you email iKobo or used their live chat? I also heard about their poor customer support but at the same time I truly believe they realize the problem and try to improve it, as all the customers are interested in it.
Answer
If you get mugged, just don't give them the PIN number. Works at ATM's, but I don't know that it can be used for purchases directly (have to check on that, again).
Answer
I am new in this business and as for now I am just searching for the company that suits my needs the best.
So I am glad that I can find out some needed information about ikobo from the person who’s been using this company. And hope you will share your experience
Is it easy to implement ikobo shopping cart service? And do you use the standard ikobo shopping cart or you integrated ikobo payment processing with your own shopping cart?
