Ebay, "Item not received process"

Question
Sorry if this has been brought up, but I did not see any mention of it.
Item not received process info
Looks like a royal PIA for the seller.
Customer, "nope didn't get item, do I need to pay for it?"
Customer, "This is significantly different than what I wanted, yes it was the same as stated in the auction"
Geez, just what we need, more ebay intervention in comunicating with our customers. Yep, I know many have been forcasting half.com type email intervention (no email) for a long time. This sure adds to that theory.

Answer
This has been discussed in another thread, but in my opinion it's worth repeating.

It does pretty much suck putty balls for sellers - among multiple other inequities, as you imply, buyers can file an item not received complaint before their payment is made or even due!

Another way for eBay to circumvent sellers' terms and conditions and intervene in the process

Answer
My Ebay store has been such a disappointment so far this holiday season I'll probably shutter it up after the holidays.
Ebay just keeps making it harder and harder for sellers to sell. I wonder what the monster sellers think of this new crinkle.
As it is it seems like I get 5 or 6 emails every time I sell something!
