I read somewhere on ebay that if you refer someone that opens a store you get some credit, $5 or $12 or something? Is that so?

If so, I am getting ready to sign up for my free trial. Who here would like my referral credit & what should I do to make sure you get it?

I've never heard of that. I know you can get a $5 credit for getting people to sign up with PayPal (not sure of the conditions for getting that credit though).
The only eBay Store referral credit I'm aware of is this one:

I haven't heard of that either, but I do use the referral link thingy that Irene posted. Helps save a bit on your fees.

ooops ... it IS through Commission Junction, not Linkshare.
(I'm signed up with both, so yes my website link would work - in fact I signed myself up for my second store from there and got the credit)
