Question
Hello All,
I would like to list a couple of items to eBay this weekend, and would like to have any advice or experience anyone might have on listing an item for auction on eBay around Thanksgiving.
My thinking is to list the items on Sunday or Monday, but does that even matter? I know alot of people are traveling and doing the holiday thing which could be bad, but is there a chance that those that don't travel may actually spend more time at the computer because they are off from work? Would Thanksgiving day actually be a good day to list or bad?
And I know that the day after Thanksgiving is traditionally a busy (mall type) shopping day, but does this also apply to eBay sales? And whatever day anyone might think would be a good day to list, should it be a 3 or 5 day auction?
Any advice or experience anyone could relate would be apperciated.

Answer
First wait to see if there will be a free listing day. LOL
I had auctions ending tonight with moderate success. I've never had good traffic on any holiday. T-giving is one of the biggest travel holidays, most folks will be on the road Sunday.
My personal experience over past 5 years has been better ending Tues or Wed after T-giving.
