Is anybody here currently using Sparedollar?? If so, have you been able to get into the site today?
I haven't been able to get in it for hours & none of my pics are showing up on auctions - which is just great with Club99 ending today.

Tomass has a habit of changing his posts on his board to fit his needs for the moment.
I find that to be a tad bit dishonest.

I can get in there, but can't get new gallery pictures to upload.....been trying yesterday and this morning at different intervals, but still no luck

Just to let anyone know who uses SpareDollar . . . service the past couple of months has greatly improved & there have been no problems to speak of (until this past Saturday) when nobody could get into the site.
Tomas gave the following explanation of what happened on Sat.
"On 11/20/2004 Users may have experienced the site to be inaccessible intermittently between 2-4pm ET. Our hosting provider has determined this outage to be related to a DDos (Distributed Denial of Service) attack. They have applied measures to alleviate this problem and we are monitoring the site closely at this time to prevent future attacks.
"On the Internet, a distributed denial-of-service (DDoS) attack is one in which a multitude of compromised systems attack a single target, thereby causing denial of service for users of the targeted system. The flood of incoming messages to the target system essentially forces it to shut down, thereby denying service to the system to legitimate users"
SpareDollar is still the best service out there for the money, $4.95 a month & this has been the only glitch since Tomas has switched providers.

That might be your experience, but mine is far different. I have trouble with SpareDollar almost every time I go there. Sometimes its images, sometimes it's the scheduler, sometimes it's the lister. But there's usually some glitch with one part or another. And the counters haven't worked properly for months, the tracker has NEVER worked properly, etc. etc.

I was going to say that Poodle must not read the support boards daily..it's one problem after another..day after day after day.
When I was listing over there just like the poster above stated ,if one thing didn't work it was another...the only thing Tomas has somewhat cured was the Sunday night image downtimes...thre rest of the stuff works when it wants to..lol.

Believe it or not, as bad as I find the selling form on ebay, I would much PREFER to use ebay's many pages for selling than SD. I was a customer, and it was one glitch after another.
The things I MUST HAVE if I'm going to pay for a service is the ability to schedule auctions(and not pay per auction) and End Of Auction emails that consistently go out automatically when the auction ends(thinking about using the paypal invoice or ebay or ....?). Those two things NEVER worked consitently enough to continue using them-and I used them for about a year. And I could never get a response out of Thomass that wasn't curt and almost rude when I did get one which wasn't very often. I quit and went to ebays form and was glad not to pay anymore.
I'd still like something that does the major 2 things above at a reasonable price. No fancy frills and other hogwash

Well I went to Inkfrog and have been there quite a while now and I use the 12.95 plan..you can scheldule auctions etc. with that plan..they have automatic emails but I don't use them.
I've never had a problem with them..at least I can sleep at night knowing my auctions will come on when they are supposed to and the counters work etc...I used Ranchoweb for quite a few years but they are always way behind on the updates.

I tried InkFrog-twice. But could not figure it out at all. Had a steep learning curve for me-and I'll admit that I HATE having 3 thousand tabs, without a clear explanation of what they mean. I want clean, simple and easy to use. I could never get IF to work for me.
