Vacation Hold: Let buyers know when you’re away! Now you can easily put Store Inventory Format listings “on vacation” and add messaging to listings so that buyers know when you’re out. Go to “Manage Your Store” to set up Vacation Hold for your listings.

Three options are available:
1. Hide your store inventory listings
or
2. Display a standard vacation message above all your active auction, fixed price and store inventory descriptions
or
3. Display a standard or customized vacation message on store pages, below the custom header

I'd love to do this over Christmas (visions of people buying on 12/22 and expecting pre Christmas delivery swim in my nightmares). If anyone tries it, let us know if it works. Maryanne

For me it will be perfect IF it actually works. Our last shipping date for this year will be Dec. 17th and we will resume shipping again after the first of the year. I love the $$ that this season generates, but I like to spend quality time with my family more.
Hope it works like it sounds like it is supposed to.
